Great Things I Noticed This Week
I was extremely proud of the MS band! What a wonderful performance. They sounded great! Thanks for all of your hard work, Jackie!
Kudos to the MS Show Choir as well! We are getting excited about your upcoming competition. Thanks for all of your hard work, Erik!
Thank you to everyone who stayed after school on Wednesday and helped with the Catching Fire run-through. We couldn’t do it without you!
It has been fun to see the excitement building around the Rube Goldberg project in 7th grade. What a wonderful addition to the curriculum! We can’t wait to see the kids’ final projects on Friday. Way to go, Sarah Hoff!

Joy already sent this through email, but it’s worth reposting. Great article on recently released PISA scores. As Joy said, ” It gives you facts to help explain AGAIN why we must not let isolated scores impact decisions when there is “bad math” at the helm.”
In case you missed it…. Some of our 7th graders worked hard with some 8th graders in Mr. D’s practicum to do this. It’s wonderful!
